EQUIPA

CATARINA VEIGA, LUTHIER

“I come from Porto, Portugal, and I am a luthier, architect and violinist. My journey began back in 2009 when I crafted my first violin bridge at Judith Bauer’s atelier and discovered my deep passion for the art of Lutherie. During this time, I understood the importance of a collaborative environment where musicians could exchange ideas and receive the support they required to unlock the full potential of their instruments.

Consequently, I delved into this field with a goal to create bespoke violins cater to individual musicians while maintaining a transparent work process that can by accompanied by the musician.”

JOÃO CAROLA, MARKETING

“I have a background in marketing and sales. Having worked in startups and social solidarity institutions. During my college years, I co-founded and led a junior initiative that provided marketing, branding, and advertising services to non-profit organizations.

On a personal note, I started playing the violin at Metropolitana de Lisboa in 2003, although my career path has not been in music. Nevertheless, this project has allowed me to bridge my interests in both music and marketing.”
